Happy 6 month b-day Aidan

OK, so I know it's been 6 months already since he was born, but that's why I'm putting these on here. Aidan had his six month birthday on the 6th and I can't believe it's been that long already. He took the longest of the six kids to get here (26 hours of labor or something), and ended up in the NICU. My water had been broken for about 4 days we figured and so they had to keep him there on antibiotics. It was the worst experience I've had with having a baby. All the other kids were easy, quick, and stayed in my room with me. They never left my sight or Grayson's. So to have Aidan on the other side of the hospital wing was very difficult.

So this is me at my diaper shower. Since I already had 2 boys before him, I didn't really need anything except diapers. If anyone is having a baby and already has everything. I definately suggest having a diaper shower. I still have not bought a pack of diapers and he's 6 months old. That's how many packs of diapers I received. It was AWESOME!!!!

This was after he was born, they let me hold him for a few min. Then they had to take him and give him oxygen because he was grunting.

Gray got to hold him first too. Have you ever seen a more proud papa?

Here they are giving him the oxygen and pounding on his back. It didn't help, so they sent him to the NICU.

This is how he looked the next time I saw him. I cried and cried. The thing on he head is a c-pap machine. It was basically forcing the air into his lungs so his lungs could rest and not use up so much energy. He also has a heart monitor, and an IV, and a blood pressure cuff on his leg, and a tube going into his stomach to let out any goup, or gasses, or something. I can't remember.

This is how he looks today. Happy, and healthy. Happy birthday Aidan Leo.
